Microphones Instead of Headphones with Microphones

New Idea to try:  Microphones separate from headphones.  Kids can bring their own earbuds.

Only Lost One Pair of Headphones

With the Read 180 Program using headphones that you have to speak into to record student answers, we did pretty good to only have one pair with the ears torn off and three pair with the switches a little flaky.  Next year, I am hoping to use an infocus projector and an ELMO to help teach the lessons.

This year was not bad.  Almost all of my students (98%) showed some reading improvement.  It was the Year of the Pencil.

My 8th grade students did well!

8th grade reading 88% passing and 44% commended

 8th grade math 81% passing and 19% commended

Way to go 8th graders!  Unfortunately TEA Texas Education Agency took away the Texas Projected Measure so won't be exemplary.

I am just glad my kids did well!

We're in TAKS Mode - 20 day!

So far it has been a good year with no major issues!  I just want all of my students to pass the TAKS Reading test, especially my 8th grade students!

Dell GX620

I have a Dell GX620 and I am hoping to use as my infocus computer.  I need to see if it works first.

Found a 2 prong cord

Found a good two prong cord for an Elmo. Apparently several of them went on strike during the summer!
